
Two young men were killed while a woman and another man were hurt in a shooting in Wilmington, Delaware.
The shooting occurred Tuesday, shortly before 2:30 p.m., in the area of West 7th and North Adams streets. Police said a 19-year-old man, a 21-year-old man, another man and a woman were all struck in the shooting.
The four victims were taken to the hospital. The 19-year-old and the 21-year-old both died from their injuries. The third man and the woman are both in critical condition.
A nearby resident, William Ruiz, said that the neighborhood has felt unsafe for some time.
“Since I’ve moved here I’ve seen people get killed on the street right here,” he said. “And you see the guy running down the street, and the guy chasing and shooting at him. I’ve seen cars come up through here shooting at him.”
“It’s not good,” he added. “You can even get your kids and come out side and play or nothing.”
