We are paying $25M of new money in 26 and afterward for Ramsey to be the slot CB in nickel this year. We have the best pair of outside CB starters we've had in many years in JPJ and Dean, and have probably the best 4th and 5th CBs we've had this century in Samuel Jr. and Eichols, the latter of whom is an inside/outside CB.
Once Porter signs his extension, we will average paying our top 3 CBs more than $60M annually, and you want to use a high draft pick on a CB this year? I don't want to take a CB at all and if we do it better not be before the 4th round.
And a third WR is a starter now that we will run a 21st Century offense. Unlike CB, where we hav a ton of options and cash already invested, we literally have no one after the top two WRs beyond the mmamoth bust of Roman Wilson.
