Ramsey is not cb 3. That argument is only being made by people who didn't watch games last year. He got absolutely COOKED on the outside. He's slot only at this point for the cb position and he didn't look great there either.
He getting 20 mil menage the front office made the mistake of believing he could play on an island. He can't. There is greater value in overpaying him then getting some cap space back but not being able to find even a vaguely similar player.
I'm not certain the point you're trying to make. I think we need to draft a wr high, exactly like cb. Cb might be marginally better then wr but neither meet the desired threshold for talent. Just because cb fails closer to the line doesn't mean it doesn't need a similarly large talent infusion
