ALSO. Avoiding CB would be a mistake, and the position should NOT be avoided!
We have our starters, and some good depth in the roster. However, Dean is about to be 30 and CB is one of those positions where ‘you can never have enough good’. TB let Dean walk. Is it because he is approaching the dreaded ‘age cliff’ for CBs?
It’s not a rd1 position (unless one of the exceptional guy falls to 21 and is clearly ‘BPA’) but I certainly wouldn’t avoid it, especially, to draft a TE3!
Likewise, under our current state of LT, questions linger. Will BJones recover? Can Cook be the LT of the future? Pretty iffy circumstances there given the nature of Jones’ injury and the limited number of snaps for Cook, who definitely shined under tough circumstances.
